WildBlue, Estero, FL · October 2025
Located in the prestigious WildBlue community, the project at 13624 Blue Bay Circle evolved from a standard maintenance task into a specialized restoration effort. The property required a sophisticated approach to handle its unique hardscape layout, which featured a blend of high-end aesthetics and specific structural needs. The work began with a focus on the driveway and pool deck, where we aimed to restore protection and visual depth. During the initial cleaning and repair phase, our team identified that the surface was comprised of tiles set on a sand bed rather than traditional pavers. This discovery was critical, as the standard rinsing process caused the bedding sand to wash out, threatening the stability of the tiles. To address this properly, we performed a full joint evacuation, blowing out the remaining unstable material to prepare for a more permanent solution. To ensure the longevity of the installation, we performed a complete joint re-sanding using high-grade polymeric sand. This was treated as a distinct, specialized phase of the project to ensure the tiles were properly locked in place and protected against future washout. Once the foundation was stabilized, the driveway was finished with Superior Quality Coatings Orca. This premium, two-part water-based sealer provided a stunning high-gloss finish, offering both the durability and the "wet look" desired for such a high-profile waterfront home. The final result successfully combined technical problem-solving with high-end finishing, leaving the pool deck repaired and the driveway fully stabilized and shielded with a professional-grade gloss.
